Como capitalized on Juventus' mistakes, securing a surprising 2-0 win in Turin and pushing the Old Lady into crisis mode. The victory moves Como to within a point of fifth place, with only four points separating fifth from sixth in the standings.

Juventus were already struggling with several key players missing, including Pierre Kalulu (suspended), Gleison Bremer, Emil Holm, Dusan Vlahovic, and Arek Milik (injured), and Jonathan David (not at 100%). Como also had their challenges, with Nico Paz suspended and Assane Diao and Edoardo Goldaniga long-term absentees, but Alvaro Morata returned from his ban.

Juventus debuted their new special edition retro fourth kit with horizontal black and white stripes. The kit was a unique look for the team, but it didn't seem to bring them much luck.

Jean Butez flew to palm away an early Kenan Yildiz snapshot, but Como took the lead after a series of errors. The mistakes from Juventus were piling up, and Como capitalized on them.

Weston McKennie misplaced a pass in midfield, and then Mergim Vojvoda cut inside Teun Koopmeiners for a shot that bent back Michele Di Gregorio’s very weak hand at the near post. The goalkeeper's mistake was glaring, and it was a howler.

Even with a slight deflection off Fabio Miretti, it was still a blunder from Di Gregorio. Incredibly, it was the 13th time this season Juve conceded with the first shot on goal. The stats were not on Juventus' side.

Butez anticipated the Lois Openda lob, but Como's luck was evident as Di Gregorio struggled with a poor Koopmeiners back-pass. The goalkeeper's mistake almost gifted Lucas Da Cunha an easy goal, but the chip bounced off the crossbar of an open goal.

Alex Valle also had a chance to score, hitting a wild shot from 12 yards that flew over the bar. Tasos Douvikas was also involved in the attack, sending a glancing header wide and having a shot charged down from a corner.

Como doubled their lead on the counter-attack, sparked by Sergi Roberto, with Da Cunha rolling across for Maxence Caqueret to sweep in from eight yards. The goal was a perfect example of Como's clinical finishing.

A Koopmeiners header on the Kenan Yildiz cross after another corner skimmed the far post, but Juventus struggled to create genuine scoring opportunities. Their lack of creativity was evident, and things got worse when Manuel Locatelli was booked, earning a suspension for next week's clash with Roma.

Koopmeiners came close to scoring in the 84th minute when his free kick thumped the upright. The momentum seemed to be shifting, but Jonathan David nodded a Francisco Conceicao cross over in the same move. Juventus' luck was against them.

It's the first Juventus home defeat in Serie A since March 2025, and it adds to their recent inconsistent form. They've managed just one draw in their last five competitive games, highlighting their struggles.
