Johannes Klaebo made history by winning his 10th Olympic gold medal in the men's cross-country team sprint, leading Norway to victory alongside teammate Einar Hedegart. This win ties him with US speedskater Eric Heiden's record of five gold medals in a single Winter Games. Klaebo has now surpassed the record for most titles at all Winter Olympics, having previously won the men's relay.

The US men's team, consisting of Ben Ogden and Gus Schumacher, took home silver, marking their second medal at the Milano Cortina Games and ending a 50-year medal drought. Italy's Elia Barp and Federico Pellegrino secured bronze, with Pellegrino's second medal at these Games.

Klaebo's dominance in cross-country skiing continues to awe his competitors, with many conceding he may be unstoppable.

France was well on track for a podium finish, but things got complicated when Mathis Desloges, a triple silver medalist, broke his ski poles twice, relegating the team to 12th place. Despite a strong start, the French could not recover from these incidents and finished well off the medals.

Desloges had started the Games impressively, winning two silver medals in the skiathlon and individual events, but these pole breaks compromised the French team's chances.

Norway dominated the men's cross-country team sprint, with Johannes Klaebo anchoring the team to a gold medal. The US team, led by Gus Schumacher, put up a strong fight, securing silver 1.37 seconds behind Norway. Italy's Federico Pellegrino and Elia Barp took bronze, just 3.3 seconds off the pace.

Federico Pellegrino's Olympic journey is coming to an end, and he's going out with a bang. The Italian cross-country skiing legend has won his second bronze medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, this time in the men's team sprint alongside Elia Barp. Pellegrino had previously won bronze in the men's 4x7.5km relay, and he's been vocal about these being his final Olympics.

Pellegrino's impressive career spans 15 seasons at the top, with two Olympic silvers and a world championship gold in 2017. He's focused on inspiring others with his achievements and showing that it's possible to balance athletics with family life.
