Accident in Mallorca: German Cycling Team Riders Hit by Car

The accident occurred on Monday morning when the team departed from their hotel in Palma to embark on a training ride. Riders Benjamin Boos, Tobias Buck-Gramcko, Bruno Kessler, Moritz Augenstein, Louis Gentzik, and Max-David Briese were struck by a car driven by an 89-year-old individual who failed to notice the group of cyclists. Fortunately, none of the riders are reported to be in critical condition.

The German Cycling Federation has stated that national coach Lucas Schädlich witnessed the accident unfold from his car, which was following the group of riders. Emergency assistance was promptly provided to the injured cyclists at the scene.
