Reigning Danish champions AGF have bolstered their defense with the signing of Colin Rosler from Swedish side Malmo FF. The 26-year-old previously played for Mjallby AIF in the Allsvenskan. He is the son of former AGF head coach Uwe Rosler, who was sacked after the club lost seven games in a row to end last season.
Rosler made 10 appearances for Malmo FF this year, but will now move to the Danish Superliga. Born in Germany, the center-back grew up in Norway and England and came through the academy at Manchester City.
Rosler made his senior debut with Dutch side NAC Breda back in 2019. Since then he’s played more than 200 senior games, including his most recent spell in Sweden, plus 25 European matches for Malmo FF. Now his career takes him to Aarhus and AGF.

“We are getting a talented player with extensive experience at a high level, most recently with a top Scandinavian club. He is a tactically astute, ball-playing centre-back who is naturally right-footed but comfortable with both feet, and he is a solid, meticulous defender,” says AGF sports director Carsten V. Jensen.
“He can play on either side of the defence, so we are pleased to have reached an agreement with Malmo. He strengthens our squad and increases our defensive options. We look forward to seeing Colin in the white jersey.”
