Kawhi Leonard posts update after being ruled out with knee swelling...
The Raptors announced on Tuesday that Leonard will miss at least a week of the NBA season due to swelling in his left knee.
Leonard featured in two wins to start the 2026-27 season but sat out Sunday's loss to Minnesota because of the swelling.
“Forward Kawhi Leonard will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program to address swelling in his left knee,” the team said in a statement.
“Medical imaging revealed no acute injury, and Leonard will be reevaluated in one week.”
Leonard, 35, has previously dealt with significant right knee injuries that affected his 2021 and 2023 playoff runs.
Toronto acquired Leonard who led the franchise to its 2019 championship from the Los Angeles Clippers in an offseason trade that was finalized only after the league resolved its investigation into the Clippers' salary cap circumvention case.

Last month, he signed a two-year, $115 million extension to stay with the Raptors.
“It's always frustrating missing time,” Leonard posted on social media. “I came back to compete with this team and I'm focused on getting back to 100.
“Toronto, I've appreciated the love since I've been back. Returning soon.”
