FC Copenhagen dropped points for the first time under Bo Svensson, held to a 3-3 draw away at Fredericia in an open, high-scoring game.


Elsewhere at the bottom of the table, Randers and Silkeborg both picked up key wins, beating Vejle and OB respectively.



Silkeborg Edge OB 3-2 to Boost Survival Hopes

Silkeborg took a major step toward staying in the Danish Superliga with a 3-2 win at OB on Sunday, dealing a blow to the hosts’ push for seventh place and a European playoff spot.


Jens Martin Gammelby opened the scoring in the 18th minute, sliding the ball through Viljar Myhra’s legs. OB equalized four minutes before halftime when Alexander Priesborg gave the ball away near the box, allowing Jona Niemiec to set up Noah Ganaus for a curled finish.


Tonni Adamsen restored Silkeborg’s lead eight minutes after the break with his 14th goal of the season. Things got worse for OB in the 67th minute when Nicolas Bürgy was sent off for a tackle on Adamsen.


Gammelby made it 3-1 with his second of the game, capitalizing on the man advantage. William Martin pulled one back late with a close-range header, but Silkeborg held on for the win.


Randers Hold On With 10 Men to Beat Vejle 1-0

Randers picked up a crucial 1-0 home win over relegated Vejle despite playing over an hour with 10 men in their fight to avoid relegation.


The hosts started brightly, with Vejle clearing Laurits Pedersen’s overhead effort off the line and Lucas Lissens hitting the woodwork inside the opening 10 minutes.


The game turned in the 33rd minute when Cyril Edudzi was sent off for a heavy challenge on Lasse Flo after a VAR review left the referee with no doubt.


Wahid Faghir missed a sitter for Vejle just before halftime, failing to connect when unmarked in the box. Randers made it count in the 62nd minute, with Elies Mahmoud converting a penalty after Lasse Nielsen handled in the area.


Fredericia Stun FCK Early in 3-3 Thriller

FC Copenhagen’s perfect start under Bo Svensson ended in a 3-3 draw at Fredericia, with the hosts striking in the first minute through Friday Etim’s powerful header.


Jordan Larsson set up Andreas Cornelius to level it in the 11th minute, screening the ball to create space for a composed finish.




Fredericia went ahead again in the 25th minute after Copenhagen’s offside trap failed, leaving Jonatan Lindekilde with time and space to slot past Dominik Kotarski.


Fredericia barely had time to celebrate before Mads Emil Madsen made it 2-2, firing home first-time from Marcos López’s pullback. Friday Etim headed in his second in the 86th minute to put the hosts back in front, but Jordan Larsson converted a late penalty to secure a point for Copenhagen.
