Cremonese extended their unbeaten start to the season with a goalless draw against Parma. Parma had the best chance of the match, hitting the woodwork, but ultimately couldn't find the net.
Parma had a golden opportunity in the opening nine minutes when Mateo Pellegrino's towering header from Emanuele Valeri's cross hit the top of the upright from just seven yards out, narrowly avoiding a goal.
Cremonese's match got off to a concerning start as Michele Collocolo pulled up clutching his left thigh during a sprint. He was forced to make way for a substitute early on, and there's a worry he might be out for an extended period.
Mateo Pellegrino continued to threaten Cremonese's goal, testing Emil Audero with a shot from a Patrick Cutrone lay-off. Audero responded well, getting down to fingertip a powerful Adrian Bernabé effort around the post. The match remained intense, with Sorensen failing to capitalize on a rebound after Audero punched the ball clear. Enrico Delprato also had a shot parried with difficulty at the near post.

Cremonese's Moumbagna thought he had scored with a header from a short corner cross, but teammate Federico Baschirotto charged down the effort in the six-yard box. Zion Suzuki had a tense moment when he misjudged a Franco Vázquez cross-shot and had to scramble to fingertip it out from under the crossbar, keeping the score goalless.
Team News
Cremonese remained unbeaten after wins over Milan and Sassuolo, followed by a draw at Verona. However, they will be without Jamie Vardy and Martin Payero due to injuries. Parma managed to scrape a point, but they'll be without Hernani and Lautaro Valenti, who join long-term absentees Jacob Ondrejka and Matija Frigan.
