Bayer Leverkusen has signed 19-year-old Algerian international Ibrahim Maza from Hertha Berlin, with the talented forward committing to a five-year deal. Maza, who was born in Berlin and formerly represented Germany at youth level, chose to play for Algeria in 2024.

“Ibrahim Maza is currently one of the most interesting young attacking players,” said Simon Rolfes, Bayer Leverkusen's sporting managing director. “Ibrahim suits us and our style of football.
