Mariehamn remain winless after a fourth straight draw for Jaro...
AC Oulu reclaimed top spot in the 2026 Veikkausliiga after beating reigning champions KuPS, who finished the match with 10 men, bringing their unbeaten run to an end. VPS also picked up an away win at Mariehamn, while other fixtures ended in draws.
AC Oulu Stun KuPS 2-0 at Home
AC Oulu got revenge for their earlier loss to KuPS with a strong 2-0 home win over the champions. After falling to Lahti last time out, Oulu bounced back immediately, opening the scoring just four minutes in.
A miscommunication between KuPS goalkeeper Johannes Kreidl and defender Kasim Adams left the ball loose, and Rasmus Karjalainen pounced. He struck a 35-yard volley into the empty net to put Oulu ahead.
Lamine Ghezali doubled Oulu’s lead 19 minutes from time. After his through ball was blocked, he retrieved it, drove into the box, and finished from a tight angle to make it 2-0.
Bob Armah was sent off for a second yellow with two minutes left, capping a tough afternoon for KuPS. The defeat means they’ve won only once in their last four and drop to third in the table.

TPS Snatch Late Draw at Jaro
Newly-promoted TPS kept their unbeaten start alive with a 90th-minute equaliser away at Jaro. The result left Jaro still searching for a first win after a fourth straight draw.
Patient build-up in the 32nd minute let Mats Pedersen thread the ball to Herman Sjogrell, who finished calmly to put Jaro ahead. TPS replied in first-half stoppage time when Matej Hradecky knocked down a corner for Albijon Muzaci to stab home.
Herman Sjogrell made it 2-1 nine minutes into the second half, converting from the spot after Oscar Haggstrom’s foul. TPS hit back again late on as Eeti Turkki headed across for Theodoros Tsirigotis to nod in the equaliser.
TPS remain one of only two unbeaten sides and sit fourth, three points off the top. Jaro stay ninth after another stalemate.
Mariehamn Still Wait for First Win
Mariehamn remain one of four teams without a league victory this season after a 1-0 home loss to VPS. The result marked a second straight win for the Vaasa side.
The only goal arrived midway through the first half when a low cross from the right wasn’t cleared. Paulo Lima reacted quickest to bundle it over the line.
The win pushed VPS into the top half of the table. Mariehamn stay second from bottom on two points after losing two games in a row.

Ilves Strike Early in Seinajoki
Ilves took the lead just 52 seconds into the match against SJK. Maksim Stjopin picked up a loose ball in midfield, drove 30 yards forward, and fired into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
For most of the game Ilves looked set for their first win of the season. But in the first minute of stoppage time, Jeremiah Streng’s header was saved by Faris Krkalic, and Rangel followed up to stab home the rebound.
Neither side could find a winner after that, leaving it 1-1 at full-time. The draw makes it back-to-back stalemates for eighth-placed SJK.
