Sassuolo turn it around, Pinamonti scores winner vs Cagliari...
Sassuolo bounced back strong after conceding a penalty via Sebastiano Esposito. Goals from Ulisses Garcia and Andrea Pinamonti dealt a blow to Cagliari, pushing them closer to relegation.
Both teams were struggling before the break, but Sassuolo's recent form took a hit too - they only got a point from three games, including a 1-1 draw at Juventus, due to a nasty whooping cough outbreak that wiped out their squadm
Cagliari's lineup took a hit with Daniel Boloca, Fali Cande, and Edoardo Pieragnolo all missing, while Kristian Thorstvedt returned. The team needs a boost, having picked up just two points in seven rounds, and they're also without Alberto Dossena (suspended) and Leonardo Pavoletti, Mattia Felici, and Riyad Idrissi (injured).

Thorstvedt's chest and volley had the keeper scrambling, flashing just wide of the top corner. Esposito's attempt was charged down from 12 yards, but he wasn't done yet.
The Italian forward tried to break through, but Jay Idzes flicked the ball away with a hand – VAR spotted the handling offence, and a penalty was awarded. Esposito converted it hard and low, despite Arijanet Muric getting a touch.
Alessandro Deiola had a shot that tested Muric, but Armand Laurienté's free kick was fingertipped over the bar by Elia Caprile, and Domenico Berardi's shot from a corner kick was blocked. Sassuolo equalized after the restart, thanks to Ulisses Garcia's stunning half-volley goal, his first Serie A goal since joining from Olympique Marseille in January.

Juan Rodriguez thwarted Domenico Berardi's clear path after a neat give-and-go with Thorstvedt, while Deiola's header from Marco Palestra's cross flew high. Luca Lipani scored just minutes after coming off the bench, but the goal was ruled offside following a Thorstvedt assist.
Sassuolo bounced back strong, thanks to a brilliant play by Andrea Pinamonti. Darryl Bakola flicked on a throw-in, and Pinamonti expertly controlled the ball with his back to goal, turned, and slued it into the near bottom corner from 12 yards.
Cagliari had a massive chance to equalize in stoppage time. Muric fumbled a simple cross, but Adam Obert's finish from a tricky angle just flew wide of the open goal.
