The Celtics are on fire. Jaylen Brown (26 points) and Jayson Tatum (23 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals) led the charge as Boston crushed the Milwaukee Bucks 133-101. The duo sat out the fourth quarter with the game all but won.

The Bucks are struggling, and the Celtics are solidifying their third-place spot in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, teenager Tyrese Flagg dropped a whopping 51 points.

The Celtics are riding high after a scorching start to their game, with eight of their 17 three-pointers coming in the first period alone, helping them to a 43-point first quarter and a 75-55 halftime lead. This hot start comes just two nights after their 53-point first quarter against Miami, where Jaylen Brown dropped 43 points.

Boston's winning streak continues, with five wins in their last six games, keeping them 2.5 games ahead of the New York Knicks for second place in the East.

The New York Knicks dominated the Chicago Bulls 136-96, with OG Anunoby leading the charge with a game-high 31 points and eight rebounds. Anunoby shot 70% from beyond the arc, making seven three-pointers, a career-high tie.

Jalen Brunson and Mitchell Robinson also had strong performances, with Brunson adding 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Robinson contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Knicks' strong start, including a 20-1 lead early on, set the tone for the rest of the game.

OG Anunoby was on fire, connecting on 9/15 shots, including 7/10 from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, Nate Robinson was unstoppable, making all seven of his shots from the field, filling Karl-Anthony Towns' big shoes.

The Atlanta Hawks are flying high, cruising past the Brooklyn Nets 141-107, solidifying their fifth spot in the East. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers edged the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-103, keeping them locked in sixth place and in contention for a direct playoff spot.

Paul George led the charge with 23 points, Tyrese Maxey added 21, and Joel Embiid returned from a one-game absence to drop 19 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.

Standings Shuffle

The Philadelphia 76ers cling to a narrow lead over the seventh-placed Toronto Raptors, with five games left in the regular season. Toronto beat the Memphis Grizzlies 128-96, keeping the play-in race tight.

The Charlotte Hornets secured a 129-108 win over the Indiana Pacers, solidifying their eighth-place spot. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic edged the Dallas Mavericks 138-127, despite a remarkable 51-point performance from Dallas rookie Cooper Flagg.

Flagg, just 19 years old, made history as the first teenager to score 50 points in an NBA game. He joined Michael Jordan as the only rookies to achieve multiple 45+ point games in their rookie seasons. Flagg's impressive stats included 19-of-30 shooting, 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, and 7-of-7 from the free throw line.

Mavs coach Jason Kidd is throwing his full support behind Cooper Flagg for Rookie of the Year, saying “He should be Rookie of the Year” after Flagg's impressive 24-point performance in the fourth quarter. Flagg almost single-handedly tried to turn the game around, but the Mavs still trailed by 19 entering the final frame and were down by 21 when Kidd got ejected for arguing a non-call.

Kidd's ejection didn't seem to faze Flagg, who continued to give it his all. With Flagg averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists this season, Kidd believes he's having a “historic year” and deserves the award.

Cooper Flagg's determination was on full display as he continued to dominate the game even after receiving a technical foul for appealing a call and witnessing teammate Naji Marshall get ejected. Despite the setbacks, Flagg seemed more fired up, and his coach Jason Kidd praised his remarkable rookie season, saying, “The things that he's done, he's in rare air.”

Flagg's impressive performance includes averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists this season, making him a strong contender for Rookie of the Year.

The Orlando Magic's balanced attack proved too much for the Mavericks, despite Cooper Flagg's spectacular performance. Wendell Carter Jr led the charge with 28 points, while Desmond Bane added 27, and six Magic players scored in double figures.

“It was fun,” Flagg said. “It's always fun getting into that type of mode. The basket feels big, and your teammates are looking out for you, helping you out.

“But I love to win. That was my main focus and it's hard for me to fully enjoy myself when we're down by 20, down 10, down 15 for the majority of the game.”

The Sacramento Kings snapped a four-game losing streak with a thrilling 117-113 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, thanks to Maxime Raynaud's 28-point performance.
