Byron Buxton's night ended early. The Twins All-Star CF walked off the field after getting hit by a fastball in Friday's game vs the Rays.
Buxton got a contusion, but thankfully, x-rays were negative. The Twins still won 10-4, despite Buxton going 0-for-3.
Buxton's April hasn't been great. After a solid start, he's hitless in April, going 0-for-10 this month.
The Twins, though, are on a roll, winning their last two games. They're 3-4 on the season, looking to build some momentum.
Byron Buxton is riding high after his standout 2025 season with the Minnesota Twins, where he batted .264 with career-highs in home runs (35) and runs batted in (83). He was just six stolen bases shy of his previous best (29), making it a truly remarkable year for the 32-year-old outfielder.
