The England star's legacy at Newcastle is cemented! He's made 157 appearances for the Magpies, leading them to two Champions League finishes and their first domestic trophy in 70 years.
“The time has come to leave this amazing club after four and a half years. This is where I’ve felt most at home. It’s emotional, and I’m really going to miss it,” Trippier said.
“I want to say a massive thank you to the supporters for all the support through the good and the bad times. You’ve always supported me, always stood by me.”
The 35-year-old often led Newcastle as captain and made history as the first Magpies player to lead England since Michael Owen in 2005.
