Wales' fly-half Sam Costelow won't be playing against Ireland in Dublin this Friday due to an ankle injury. He's been ruled out of the Six Nations clash, but there's hope he'll recover in time for their match against Italy on March 14th.
Costelow got injured during Wales' 26-23 loss to Scotland last month and has been recovering with the squad. Assistant coach Matt Sherratt mentioned they're hopeful he'll play a part in the Six Nations later on. Meanwhile, Dan Edwards or Jarrod Evans could take his place against Ireland.
“Sam is not quite ready for this week. We're hoping he will play a part in the Six Nations, but not this week,” assistant coach Matt Sherratt told a Monday press conference.

Wales has had more injury woes, with lock Rhys Davies and loose forward Taine Plumtree ruled out for the rest of the Six Nations.
Uncapped utility forward Ryan Woodman has been called up as a replacement, and Cardiff prop Keiron Assiratti is back in the squad after initially being withdrawn due to injury.
