Lang to miss Netherlands vs Norway after hand surgery...

Netherlands forward Noa Lang will miss Friday's friendly match against Norway due to hand surgery, but he's expected to return for the team's match against Ecuador next week. Lang suffered a deep cut to his right thumb during Galatasaray's Champions League match against Liverpool at Anfield last Wednesday, and underwent surgery at an English hospital.

The 26-year-old's injury is a blow to the Netherlands team, which already has a long list of injuries, including Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt, Memphis Depay, and Justin Kluivert. Lang's potential return for the Ecuador match would be a boost to the team's World Cup preparations.

Noa Lang's hand was trapped between two advertising boards in a freak accident during Galatasaray's Champions League match, leading to surgery in an English hospital. The 26-year-old will miss Friday's friendly against Norway, but Dutch medical staff expect him to be ready for the Ecuador match in Eindhoven next week.

Lang's injury is a setback for the Netherlands, but there's hope he'll be back in action soon.

The Netherlands is dealing with a major injury crisis ahead of the World Cup, with Noa Lang joining the list of absent players. Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt, Memphis Depay, Emmanuel Emegha, Justin Kluivert, and back-up goalkeeper Robin Roefs are already out, making Lang's absence another blow to the team.
