Jack Draper's Miami Open campaign ended in the second round with a surprise defeat to American Reilly Opelka, 7-6(3) 7-6(0). Opelka's dominant serving display, featuring 25 aces and 47 winners, proved too much for Draper.
Draper had been on a high after reaching the quarterfinals at Indian Wells, his second ATP Tour event following an eight-month arm injury. However, he struggled to build on that momentum, facing a tough opponent in Opelka, who stands at 6'11” and is known for his powerful serve
Opelka was unstoppable, serving his way to a 7-6(3) 7-6(0) win over 25th seed Draper. He hit 25 aces and 47 winners to book his third-round spot in the US Open.
“I didn't have many chances, especially on his serve,” Draper told reporters. “I didn't get broken in the match so that was kind of my job, right?”
Quinn pulled off a huge upset, saving seven set points to beat Ruud 6-4 7-6(7). The American advances to the third round of a Masters 1000 event for the first time.
Matteo Berrettini stunned 10th seed Alexander Bublik 6-4 6-4 in Miami. The Italian's win marks a strong comeback after struggling with form.

Opelka fired down a staggering 25 aces (average of almost 2 Aces per service game) backed up with some big groundstrokes.

World number one Aryna Sabalenka battled past Ann Li 7-6(5) 6-4, while Carlos Alcaraz also advanced to the third round.
“I was there, I was fighting no matter what, even though my game probably wasn't the best one that I have,” Sabalenka said in her on-court interview.
“She played incredible tennis - she was super aggressive and she served incredibly.”

Alcaraz was solid, taking down Joao Fonseca 6-4 6-4. The top seed's title charge continues in Miami.
Rybakina's on fire, cruising past Putintseva 6-3 6-3.
