Argentina will face Mauritania in a World Cup warm-up match on March 27 at La Bombonera stadium in Buenos Aires, as part of their preparations to defend their World Cup title.

Argentina will face Mauritania this month in a World Cup warm-up match, replacing the cancelled Finalissima against Spain. The match is set for March 27th at La Bombonera stadium.


The friendly is part of Argentina's preparations for the World Cup, with another match against Zambia scheduled for March 31st.


“The ‌national team will play a ⁠friendly ‌against Mauritania as the squad begins its farewell to fans before departing to defend its World Cup title,” the AFA said in a statement.


The match between Argentina and Mauritania will be held at Boca Juniors' La Bombonera stadium on March 27th. Mauritania had been scheduled to face Palestine in Morocco, but that game was also cancelled due to the conflict.


 

Argentina's friendly against Guatemala on March 31st was cancelled due to FIFA scheduling conflicts. Guatemala were already set to face Algeria in Italy. Argentina will now play Zambia on March 31st at La Bombonera.
