Parma stunned AC Milan with a 1-0 win at San Siro, dealing a massive blow to Milan's Serie A title hopes. This defeat ends Milan's 24-match unbeaten league run, leaving them 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
Milan had a tough game, with Mateo Pellegrino's early strike deflected wide and Mike Maignan making a crucial save. Parma's defense held strong, and they capitalized on a set-piece opportunity when Mariano Troilo headed in the winner in the 80th minute.
The loss is a significant setback for Milan, and they will need to regroup quickly.
AC Milan's afternoon didn't improve, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek stretchered off after colliding with Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi. Ardon Jashari replaced him, and his tame shot was comfortably gathered by Corvi shortly after he came on.
Milan started to find their flow, with Christian Pulisic and Jashari testing Corvi with further efforts. Pulisic then scuffed his shot wide from Adrien Rabiot's headed cut-back, as a lacklustre first half came to a close.
Milan pushed hard after the break, but Parma's defense held strong. Corvi made a great save to block Rafael Leao's shot, and Mariano Troilo made a superb defensive block to deny Christian Pulisic on the rebound.
Leao was frustrated, and it showed on his face when his sliding effort hit the post. Parma continued to defend well, and Milan struggled to create significant chances. One of their better openings saw Strahinja Pavlovic miss with his header from Davide Bartesaghi's free-kick.
Milan's struggles proved costly, as Parma capitalized on a set-piece opportunity. Mariano Troilo powered home a header from Emanuele Valeri's corner, giving Parma the lead.

It initially looked like the effort may have been chalked off due to an infringement in the box, but a tense VAR review overturned referee Marco Piccinini’s initial decision.
Naturally, though, Parma weren’t getting the three points easily, and substitute Niclas Fullkrug could have found an equaliser in stoppage time, but flashed his effort wide on a hugely disappointing night for Allegri’s men
Milan suffered a second home league defeat of the season, and their hopes of winning the Scudetto are now in doubt. The team will face scrutiny after this loss.

Parma's win was heroic, securing three consecutive top-flight wins for the first time since March 2014. They're up three places in the table to 12th, a great boost for the Crusaders.
