LeBron's uncertain future with Lakers

Lakers star unsure about playing beyond this season, focuses on title push. NBA legend says health key to team's success amid playoff push.

“This is beginning towards the post-season so it has nothing to do with that...”

LeBron James is keeping his options open, saying he hasn't decided if he'll play beyond this season, his record 23rd in the NBA.

The 41-year-old Lakers star did share some plans for his post-playing days, though. Sounds like he's got some exciting projects in the works.

LeBron James is keeping things chill about his future, saying, “Yeah, I want to live. When I know, you guys know. I don't know. I just want to live, that's all.” He's not sure if he'll play beyond this season, his record 23rd in the NBA.

The Lakers superstar's uncertainty won't affect his push for a fifth NBA title, though. As the league's all-time scoring leader and four-time MVP, LeBron's focused on the present.

“This is beginning towards the post-season so it has nothing to do with that,” James said. “Same motivation, same mind factor. We've got past the marathon and now the sprint is about to start. I think everybody understands that.”

LeBron's been ballin' this season, averaging 22 points, 7.1 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game for the Lakers. They're sitting pretty at 5th in the Western Conference with a 33-21 record.

He's been dealing with sciatica earlier in the season, but LeBron says health is key for the Lakers' push down the stretch. With stars like Luka Doncic battling injuries, it's gonna be a wild ride.

LeBron's got big plans for when he hangs up his sneakers. He's already eyeing owning an NBA team, but that's just the start.

“There's a lot of things that I have on the table that I can tap into if I would like to, that being one of them,” James said of NBA team ownership.

James has already mentioned that he would like to become an NBA team owner when his playing days are done, but that's far from his only post-playing pursuit.

“There's other ventures as well I'll continue to explore and see what will engage me and motivate me in a post-career. But right now I'm still locked in on what's going on right now.”

“I think what I want to do at 45, 50 or 55 will be a lot of creating great vibes and fun with my family and my friends. That's one of my passions, great memories that will last forever,” James said.

“For sure, that's the most important for me, creating things that we will never, ever forget. My family and my friends, I'm looking forward to that.”

You can bet LeBron's gonna make waves, whatever he's doing. Next 10-15 years are gonna be wild.
