EPL: Igor Tudor Vows To Turn Spurs Around
Interim manager Igor Tudor says Tottenham's position is 'unacceptable' as he faces north London derby.
“Every Tottenham fan cannot accept the situation. We are aware of that...”
Igor Tudor, Tottenham's new interim manager, is calling out the club's current situation as “unacceptable” and is determined to turn things around. He's taking over after Thomas Frank was sacked, with Spurs sitting 16th in the Premier League table
Tudor, a former Juventus boss, knows the task isn't easy, but he's clear: “There's no time to find excuses.” He's looking to motivate his players to give their all and improve the team's performance. With a five-point cushion over West Ham, Spurs are still in a tricky spot, but Tudor's experience in turning teams around could be just what they need.
Tudor's got a tough one ahead, hosting league leaders Arsenal in the north London derby this Sunday. Despite the injury woes that plagued Frank's tenure, Tudor's clear: no excuses allowed.

“I need to be, with my staff, very intelligent to find the best possible way in a very short time,” Tudor told Tottenham's in-house media channel.
I'm coming here knowing that the situation is not easy. There is no time to find excuses. What I said from the first day here, each of us, needs to give something more, something extra.
Tottenham's got a five-point lead over West Ham in the relegation battle, but the Hammers are closing in, having picked up seven more points than Spurs in their last eight league games under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Igor Tudor's taking over as interim manager, and he's not mincing words - he says the club's position is “unacceptable” and there's no time for excuses. He's got his work cut out, especially with the north London derby against Arsenal looming.
Tottenham's recent form has been dire, with just two wins in their last 17 league games. Interim manager Igor Tudor is calling it as it is, saying, “The position of the club in this moment is one that nobody can accept.”
Tudor, who was sacked by Juventus earlier this season after just seven months in charge, knows the club needs a turnaround. He's emphasizing that there's no time for excuses, despite the team's injury woes. “I need to be, with my staff, very intelligent to find the best possible way in a very short time,” Tudor said.
“Every Tottenham fan cannot accept the situation. We are aware of that. But it's not enough to just be aware of that.”

“The situation is not easy because we have a lot of injured players, so we need first to find the best system to suit the players that are available in this moment.”
Captain Cristian Romero is suspended for the visit of Arsenal, while James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Mohammed Kudus, Richarlison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall are among those set to miss out through injury.
