Braga edged out OGC Nice 1-0, keeping their strong Europa League form alive. The win puts Braga in a good position to finish top eight, while Nice remain winless and bottom of the table.
Nice struggled to trouble Braga's defence, who dealt with their limited threat efficiently. Braga created the first chance on 13 minutes, with Ricardo Horta's low shot blocked by Kojo Peprah Oppong.
Braga's pressure paid off in the 28th minute, with Victor scoring the only goal of the game. The goal came after a well-worked move, with Victor Gomez's low centre finding Victor, who swept it into the bottom corner.
El Ouazzani had chances to score, but his efforts were foiled by Maxime Dupe and the woodwork. Braga's attacking prowess was evident, with Leonardo Lelo and Ricardo Horta causing Nice problems throughout the game.

Nice's defence continued to struggle, conceding a goal before the hour mark for the seventh time in eight games. Their only threat came from a looping Kevin header, which was tipped over by Lukas Hornicek 10 minutes before halftime.
Nice struggled against Braga, and their winless run continues. They've lost four games to Portuguese opposition this season, and it was looking likely they'd add to that tally. Vitor Carvalho's long-range shot was well saved, but Braga's dominance deserved the win.
Braga created chances, but Nice goalkeeper Hornicek made some impressive saves, denying Kevin and Isak Jansson. Despite being on the back foot, Nice had chances to equalise, but it was Braga's goal that stood.
Nice's struggles continued as they failed to capitalise on chances, with Mohamed-Ali Cho and El Ouazzani missing good opportunities. Cho's late miss sealed Nice's elimination, leaving them seven points outside the top 24 with two games to play.
Braga, on the other hand, are on a roll, with four wins in six league phase matches, all with a clean sheet. Their 1-0 win over Nice keeps them in contention for a top-eight finish.
