Bournemouth staged an impressive comeback at home to West Ham, with Enes Unal's late equalizer securing a 2-2 draw. Callum Wilson had netted twice against his former side, but the Hammers couldn't hold on for the win.

The draw marked a rare slip-up for West Ham, who had won their previous two Premier League matches. Bournemouth's point was a welcome boost, especially given their recent struggles, including heavy back-to-back defeats before the international break.

West Ham got a boost from their recent back-to-back league wins, taking an 11th-minute lead thanks to a clever move initiated by Alphonse Areola's long ball that deceived Marcos Senesi, allowing Callum Wilson to score against his former club. Wilson controlled the ball with his chest before beating Djordje Petrovic with a low drive, aided by the windy conditions.

Bournemouth fought back after the early setback, with Marcus Tavernier coming close to equalizing with a close-range effort that disappointingly went off-target from a promising position. The Cherries eased themselves into the contest, but Wilson struck again in the 35th minute, doubling West Ham's lead with a brilliant hooked finish.

Bournemouth dominated possession in the first half, but it didn't seem to matter as they fell further behind. A set piece led to Callum Wilson's brilliant hooked finish into the top corner, his third league goal in two games, leaving Bournemouth two goals down at halftime.

In the second half, Bournemouth had a lot of work to do. West Ham's low block invited pressure, and Nuno Espirito Santo's decision to bring on Tomas Soucek for Wilson highlighted this. The Hammers needed Alphonse Areola to be alert to thwart Ryan Christie's rifled effort, showcasing the pressure Bournemouth was applying.

Bournemouth clawed their way back into the game with 69 minutes played, benefiting from a rash tackle by Max Kilman, which resulted in a penalty that Marcus Tavernier thrashed home. The Cherries were getting into the game, and an equalizer seemed likely as they continued to attack.

With nine minutes left, Alphonse Areola was beaten for a second time. The West Ham goalkeeper had done well to keep out Eli Junior Kroupi, but he couldn't stop substitute Enes Unal's clever finish. Unal received the ball on the turn and dinked it home, securing a 2-2 draw for Bournemouth.

Bournemouth's barrage continued to the final whistle, but West Ham managed to cling on for a point. The draw means West Ham remain undefeated in nine Premier League head-to-heads (W3, D6) and lifts them a point clear of the drop zone.

The spirited second-half comeback secures Bournemouth's place in the top half, extending manager Andoni Iraola's unbeaten league head-to-head record against Nuno Espirito Santo (W2, D3).
