Vejle's struggles continued as they suffered a 2-1 defeat in Haderslev, courtesy of a last-minute winner. Meanwhile, Viborg secured a 3-2 win over Randers at home, claiming all three points in a thrilling match.
The visitors dominated the first half, taking the lead after just seven minutes. Frederik Alves' pressure on Mads Larsen following a corner proved fruitful when Larsen headed the ball into his own net, giving the visitors a deserved advantage.
Just before halftime, the visitors doubled their lead. Noah Nartey's impressive run down the left flank ended with a cool, low finish to the left of Silkeborg goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen, further solidifying the visitors' control over the match.
Despite attempting to mount a comeback, Silkeborg's efforts were thwarted by the visitors' goalkeeper, Austrian international Patrick Pentz. He made a couple of impressive reflex saves, denying Silkeborg a chance to get back into the game.
Viborg pulled clear of the relegation zone with a thrilling 3-2 win over Randers, thanks to an own goal from Wessel Dammers. The match was intense from the start, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.
The first half was action-packed, with Viborg's Thomas Jørgensen and Srđan Kuzmić scoring for the home side, while Mohamed Toure netted twice for Randers, resulting in a 2-2 tie at halftime.
After the break, both teams adopted a more cautious approach, but Viborg ultimately secured the win when Wessel Dammers' own goal proved decisive, handing the home side all three points in a closely contested match.
Vejle's league woes deepened with a 2-1 defeat to Sonderjyske in Haderslev. Daniel Leo Gretarsson's late winning goal capped a dramatic match that saw Vejle's Giorgi Tabatadze sent off 12 minutes after giving his team the lead.
Tabatadze had put Vejle ahead after 25 minutes, but his dismissal for a second yellow card changed the game's momentum. Mads Agger equalized for Sonderjyske just before halftime, setting up a tense finish. Sonderjyske's relentless pressure paid off in the final moments when Gretarsson scored the winner.
