Brondby secured a convincing 4-1 victory over OB Odense, moving into third place in the Danish Superliga. The win puts them three points ahead of FC Copenhagen. However, the match was marred by disruptions as Brondby supporters threw tennis balls and coins onto the pitch in protest during the second half.

The match began sluggishly, but Brondby broke the deadlock in the 17th minute. Benjamin Tahirovic controlled a pass from Noah Nartey inside the box and slotted the ball past Odense goalkeeper Viljar Myhra. Despite being reduced to 10 men after Daniel Wass's sending off, Brondby maintained their lead and went on to win the match 4-1.

Brondby sealed their dominance with a second goal just 16 minutes after the first, courtesy of a defensive blunder from Odense's Yaya Bojang. Bojang's errant pass across the goalmouth found Nicolai Vallys, who capitalized on the mistake to put Brondby firmly in control with a straightforward finish.

Brondby's lead was further extended two minutes from halftime when they pounced on another defensive lapse from Bojang. This time, Brondby's swift counter-attack ended with Marko Divkovic curling a superb shot into the left-hand corner, showcasing Brondby's clinical finishing.

The second half was delayed when Brondby fans threw tennis balls and coins onto the pitch, displaying a banner that read "without us no TV-gold". This protest brought a temporary halt to the game.

Despite being reduced to 10 men after Daniel Wass's red card in the 76th minute, Brondby continued to dominate the game. They extended their lead to 4-0 when Filip Bundgaard lobbed the ball over Viljar Myhra following a mistake from James Gomez. However, Gomez later made amends for his error by scoring a consolation goal for OB, reducing the deficit to 1-4.
