Tunisia wrapped up their World Cup qualifying campaign with a flawless defensive performance, defeating Namibia 3-0 and remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.

Tunisia has made history by completing their World Cup qualifying campaign without conceding a single goal. They secured a 3-0 win over Namibia in their final Group H game, capping off an impressive run.

The team ended the campaign with an unbeaten record, boasting nine wins from 10 games and scoring 22 goals. Ali El Abdi's first-half penalty set the tone for the match, while Hannibal Mejbri and captain Ferjani Sassi added second-half goals to seal the victory.

Namibia finished second in the group, despite losing to Tunisia. This loss marks their third defeat in the last four qualifiers.

The 13-point gap between Namibia and Tunisia proved too significant to bridge. Tunisia had already secured their spot in the finals, leaving Namibia without enough points to advance to the playoff stage as one of the best four group runners-up.

Liberia ended their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea. The match saw Federico Bikoro put Equatorial Guinea ahead, but Nicholas Andrews quickly equalized for Liberia within the first half hour.

The draw was a notable result, considering Equatorial Guinea was fielding a new-look team under interim coach Casto Nopo Abeso. The Equatoguinean players had refused to travel for their previous match against Malawi due to alleged travel complications, leading to the coach's suspension and the appointment of Abeso as interim manager.

Sao Tome and Principe secured a historic 1-0 victory over Malawi, earning their first points of the campaign. Portuguese-based striker Ronald Lumungo scored the winning penalty in the 62nd minute.

The win marked a significant breakthrough for the tiny island nation, ranked 195th in the world. It ended an 18-match winless streak, giving them a much-needed boost in their international campaign. The match was played in Sousse, Tunisia, due to Sao Tome's lack of suitable venues.

South Sudan ended their group schedule with a goalless draw against Togo in Juba. This match came after the team parted ways with French coach Nicolas Dupuis following a 5-0 loss to Senegal.

Cape Verde is on the brink of making history as they aim to qualify for the World Cup. If they beat Eswatini at home, they will become the second smallest country to secure a spot in the tournament.
