Despite Perin's crucial save, Juventus struggled to find inspiration and lacked a cutting edge. Coach Igor Tudor attempted to spark a turnaround with a double substitution, introducing Khephren Thuram for Teun Koopmeiners, but the team remained in search of a breakthrough.


Khephren Thuram's header on target after 75 minutes gave Juventus a glimmer of hope. Provedel made a decent save, but the visitors were emboldened by the moment.


As Juventus pushed forward in search of an equalizer, their defense became increasingly exposed. Lazio's Isaksen and Pedro both came close to sealing the win with counter-attacks, catching Juventus off guard.
