Nico Paz shines as Como upstage Juventus, surging to fifth place in Serie A standings. Paz's stellar performance, marked by a goal and an assist, handed Juventus their first defeat of the season, snapping their eight-match unbeaten streak. Following five consecutive draws, Igor Tudor's team trailed Inter Milan by three points, but their impressive 2-0 win showcased promising form.

Como struck early, catching Juventus off guard as Marc-Oliver Kempf volleyed home Nico Paz's inswinging delivery at the back post within four minutes. Juventus attempted to regroup, with Kenan Yildiz sending a powerful shot narrowly wide during a swift counter-attack as they sought to gain momentum.

The visitors continued to probe for a leveller as the first half progressed, but Cesc Fabregas' men remained a threat at the other end.

Alvaro Morata and Alberto Moreno saw efforts thwarted by Michele Di Gregorio, while Jonathan David had a goal ruled out for Juventus due to an offside against Teun Koopmeiners in the build-up

Como's lead could have been bigger heading into the second half after Maxence Caqueret spurned a gilt-edged opportunity, miscuing his effort from close range after Michele Di Gregorio had parried Mergim Vojvoda's initial shot. Juventus seized the momentum in the final 30 minutes, with Teun Koopmeiners heading a shot towards goal, only for Jean Butez to block it. The save proved pivotal as Como sealed the win in the 79th minute; Nico Paz scored his fourth goal of the season with a beautifully curled strike into the far corner after cutting in from the right flank.

Juventus pushed late for an equalizer, with Andrea Cambiaso and substitute Dusan Vlahovic testing Como's defense, but the hosts held firm to secure a deserved 2-0 win. The victory allowed Como to leapfrog Juventus in the standings and extended their impressive home record to just one defeat in 13 matches (8 wins, 4 draws).
