Anfield Edition later apologized for the post, stating it wasn't their intention to disrespect the players. They tweeted a picture of Salah with the caption, acknowledging his point and expressing regret. The apology came after Salah's public rebuke, which highlighted his loyalty and appreciation for his former teammates who contributed significantly to Liverpool's 20th English league title win last season.
