Al Ahli secures a thrilling 4-2 win over Nasaf in the Asian Champions League Elite, thanks to stoppage-time goals from Riyad Mahrez and Mohammed Sulaiman.

Defending champions Al-Ahli came from two goals down to secure a thrilling 4-2 win over Uzbekistan's Nasaf in the Asian Champions League Elite. The match, held in Jeddah, saw Nasaf take a two-goal lead at halftime thanks to Husain Norchaev's brace. However, Al-Ahli's recent signing Enzo Millot scored twice in three minutes in the second half to level the score.


Millot's first goal came in the 65th minute, capitalizing on a mistake by Nasaf's goalkeeper Abduvohid Nematov, who left the net unguarded, allowing Millot to slot the ball in from distance. He scored again soon after, taking advantage of hesitant defending.


The real drama unfolded in stoppage time. Riyad Mahrez scored four minutes into added time, slotting home to give Al-Ahli the lead. Mohammed Sulaiman sealed the win with a close-range goal 11 minutes later, after Nasaf was reduced to 10 men following Alibek Davronov's late sending-off.

Al-Ahli secured an opening three-point win in the western league phase of the Asian Champions League Elite. Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Al-Wahda from the United Arab Emirates. The winning goal was scored by defender Lucas Pimenta, who netted deep into added time.


In other matches, Al-Ahli fought back from a two-goal deficit to win 4-2 against Uzbekistan's Nasaf, thanks to stoppage-time goals from Riyad Mahrez and Mohammed Sulaiman. The match's outcome was decided deep into added time when Pimenta scored the winner for Al-Wahda. The goal came after Pedrag Rajkovic blocked Ala Zouhir's header, and Pimenta pounced on the rebound. This dramatic win earned Al-Wahda three crucial points in the Asian Champions League Elite.


Yacine Brahimi and Joselu scored in the first half to give Al Gharafa a 2-0 lead over Sharjah. However, Rey Manaj and Ousmane Camara scored around the hour mark to level the game. Joselu restored Al Gharafa's lead, but the team's goalkeeper Khalifa Ababacar was sent off in the 86th minute. Manaj then scored a free kick, and Igor Coronado sealed the win with a 100th-minute goal.


Al Sadd came from behind to draw 1-1 with Al Shorta in Baghdad. Dominique Mendy scored for the hosts in the 28th minute, but Hassan Al-Haydos equalized for Al Sadd in the 62nd minute. The draw keeps both teams in contention in the Asian Champions League Elite.
