The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has called up Somerset's James Rew to replace Jordan Cox in the squad for the one-off Test match against Zimbabwe later this month. Cox, a batter from Essex, suffered an abdominal muscle injury while playing in the County Championship.
Rew, a wicketkeeper-batsman, has been added to the England squad to fill the void left by Cox's injury. The ECB announced the news in a statement, confirming Rew's inclusion ahead of the Test match against Zimbabwe.

21-year-old Rew has received his first senior England call-up, following an impressive run in the County Championship. He's averaging 54.21 with the bat this season, with a highest score of 152.
Gus Atkinson will lead England's pace attack in the upcoming test match at Trent Bridge, due to several frontline fast bowlers being sidelined with injuries. Atkinson will be spearheading an inexperienced bowling unit against a tough opponent, starting May 22nd.
