England will play a World Cup qualifier against Andorra at Villa Park on September 6, marking the first senior men's international match at the Midlands ground in 20 years. This fixture follows England's June 10 friendly against Senegal at the City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest, which was one of the rare instances of the team playing a home game outside of Wembley Stadium this year under Thomas Tuchel.
England manager Thomas Tuchel expressed his excitement about the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Andorra at Villa Park, saying, “We are excited to play at Villa Park, another stadium full of history. I know from my own visits to the stadium this season that it is capable of creating an outstanding atmosphere and is located close to St. George's Park, which is a positive for our preparation.”
