Conrad to Lead South Africa in White-Ball Cricket
Shukri Conrad appointed as South Africa's limited-overs coach, adding to his Test role, ahead of key tournaments and tours, including the 2027 ODI World Cup.
South Africa have appointed Shukri Conrad as their new limited-overs coach, in addition to his role as Test coach. Conrad led the team to the World Test Championship final and will now oversee all formats, replacing Rob Walter who resigned due to personal reasons.

“Coaching the Test side has been the greatest privilege of my cricket journey, and to now oversee the white-ball teams as well is something unbelievably special,” Conrad said in a statement from Cricket South Africa.
“South African cricket has incredible white-ball talent. There’s a strong foundation to build on, and I believe we have what it takes to achieve something special.”

South Africa has appointed Shukri Conrad as their limited-overs coach, building on his success as Test coach. The team will co-host the 2027 ODI World Cup with Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Conrad's new role follows the team's strong recent performances, including reaching the World Test Championship final and the T20 World Cup final last year. South Africa's upcoming schedule includes a tri-series in Zimbabwe with New Zealand in July, followed by tours to Australia, England, and India.
