Juventus Bounces Back with 2-0 Win Over Monza
Juventus secures a 2-0 win over Monza despite being reduced to 10 men in the second half. Goals from Nico Gonzalez and Randal Kolo Muani seal the victory.
Juventus returned to winning ways with goals from Nico Gonzalez and Randal Kolo Muani, despite being reduced to 10 men in the second half after Kenan Yildiz was sent off for violent conduct.
The win came after a tough week for Juventus, who suffered a 1-0 defeat at Parma, slipping to fifth place. The team was also dealing with injuries to key players, including Dusan Vlahovic, who joined several other players on the sidelines.
Monza, who had lost four consecutive games, were without several players, including Armando Izzo and Matteo Pessina, as they looked to end their losing streak against Juventus.
Kolo Muani's acrobatic volley tested Stefano Turati's goalkeeping skills at the back post, while Samuele Birindelli's promising counter-attack didn't yield any results.
The deadlock was broken when Nico Gonzalez collected the ball on the right flank, cut inside, and unleashed a low-driven shot into the far corner from long range with his left foot.
Kolo Muani had a chance to double Juventus' lead but curled his finish wide when one-on-one with the goalkeeper. However, he eventually ended his 79-day goal drought with a well-taken goal.
The goal began with Manuel Locatelli winning the ball back in midfield. Khephren Thuram then drove forward, passing to Kolo Muani on the left, who scored with a precise shot into the far corner using the inside of his right boot.

The game's dynamics shifted dramatically during first-half stoppages when Kenan Yildiz was sent off for violent conduct after raising his elbow to Alessandro Bianco's face in an off-the-ball incident. Despite not protesting, Yildiz's red card, confirmed by VAR, left Juventus with 10 men.
After the restart, Monza sensed their chance and pushed forward. Samuele Birindelli's header went straight to Michele Di Gregorio, while Gaetano Castrovilli's shot flew off target. Nico Gonzalez also had an attempt saved by Stefano Turati, striking the ball with the outside of his boot from close range.
Monza's pressure led to a flurry of crosses, but they struggled to create clear-cut chances. Renato Veiga blocked a Gianluca Caprari shot with his face, and despite their efforts, they couldn't capitalize on Juventus' numerical disadvantage.
