However, Kenin's composure deserted her, and she succumbed to a flurry of unforced errors, allowing Pegula to win six consecutive games and secure the title. This victory marks Pegula's second win of the year, following her success at the ATX Open in Austin last month.
Jessica Pegula demonstrated remarkable resilience, saving three set points in the eighth game of the second set before breaking Sofia Kenin's serve to narrow the deficit to 5-3. She then held her own service game to make it 5-4, before securing another break to level the match.

Pegula's solid serving, which included an ace, put her ahead 6-5, and she quickly took control, racing into a 0-30 lead. When Kenin's forehand sailed long, Pegula was presented with three match points. Kenin failed to mount a comeback, double-faulting to hand Pegula the victory.
