Formula 1's Mexico City event promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, with a massive crowd expected to cheer on their favorite drivers. Read more.
The Mexican Grand Prix has secured a new three-year contract extension, ensuring its place on the Formula 1 calendar through 2028. This development comes after Mexico City's head of government, Clara Brugada, announced the impending signing of the agreement.
The contract extension is significant, given Sergio Perez's departure from Red Bull at the end of 2024, which raised concerns about the event's future. However, with over 400,000 fans attending each race weekend, the event's popularity remains strong. Perez, meanwhile, is rumored to be joining the Cadillac team in 2026, potentially making a comeback to the grid.
