Dele Alli Revives Career with Move to Serie A Side Como
Former England and Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has signed an 18-month deal with Serie A club Como, aiming to revive his career after injury struggles.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton midfielder Dele Alli has signed an 18-month deal with Serie A side Como, with an option to extend for an additional year. The Italian club announced the signing on Sunday, marking a new chapter in Alli's career. The former England international boasts an impressive Premier League record, with 194 appearances, 51 goals, and 34 assists.
Alli's career has been hindered by recurrent injuries, which limited his playing time at Everton. He joined the Merseyside club in January 2022 after eight years at Spurs but managed only 13 outings. His last appearance for Everton was in August 2022, and he was subsequently loaned out to Turkish side Besiktas for a season. Alli has since focused on his recovery, and Como is eager to support his return to form.

His experience and leadership qualities will undoubtedly benefit the squad.” Fabregas emphasized the club's commitment to providing Alli with a supportive environment, saying, “The club recognises his exceptional talent and is excited to bring him into the team. The focus will be on providing Dele with a supportive environment where he can gradually integrate into the squad.” Como, currently 17th in Serie A, hosts Udinese on Monday.
