According to Lekan Adeniran, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, “The closure of the school was based on the directive of the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, who has also directed that a panel should be set up to investigate the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident.” Governor Abiodun has vowed that those found liable will face the full force of the law, ensuring accountability for the tragic event.
The state government has also visited the family of the deceased student to offer condolences and support. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology's representatives, including the Director of Secondary and Higher Education, pledged to provide assistance during this difficult time and assured a thorough investigation.
