Iran Summons Ambassadors Of UK And France Over Their Position On The Israel Attack

AMIDST the repercussions to its missile attack on Israel, Iran has called in the embassies of France, Britain, and Germany.

The attack on Israel by Iran has been denounced by the three European nations.

The ambassadors were called by Iran's foreign ministry because of what it called their “irresponsible stance” on the strikes.

Iran retaliated against Israel on Saturday by attacking the country with drones and missiles. This was the first time Iran has attacked Israel directly from Iranian territory.

Israel claimed to have intercepted over 300 Iranian missiles and drones working with allies.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) also reported that one person was hurt when a few rockets touched down on Israeli property, including on an IDF base in southern Israel.

US President Joe Biden has reassured Israel of the country's “ironclad” support, noting that the US assisted in “taking down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles.”

The prime minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, denounced Iran's strike and verified that British aircraft had downed several drones.

“The UK participated in an international coordinated effort to intercept the missiles and drones Iran fired,” he stated.

“The RAF sent additional planes to the region.”

The Israeli military added that “France has very good technology, jets, radar, and I know they were contributing in patrolling airspace” to the list of nations that took part in the missile interceptions.
