Police Arrests 8-man Gang In Lagos
POLICE in Lagos apprehend an eight-member gang that targets male victims for rape and deprives them of belongings.
The Lagos State Police have taken eight members of a gang into custody. This group's specialty is depriving their victims of their possessions and money, then forcing them to endure hours of anal intercourse.
The upscale neighborhoods of Lekki, Ajah, and Ikoyi are where the suspects were apprehended.
Police are making efforts to catch fleeing members of the deadly gang made up of young guys between the ages of 23 and 40.
Police sources stated the young men normally rent living apartments in the highbrow districts of the city after which they begin on a search for their victims.
They typically advertise employment openings and serve as real estate brokers by hanging signs in key locations throughout the city.
Those who reply to their ads for jobs or housing would be brought to their apartments, which are typically located in a popular estate, where they would undergo various forms of torture meant to coerce them into disclosing the details of their accounts. Following this, gang members would force them to have anal sex.
Their mode of operation involves driving around in exotic vehicles, such as SUVs that soar into the air. After strategically placing fictitious ads around Lekki, Ajah, Banana Island, and even Ikoyi, they scan the region in search of attractive, healthy-looking males.
As soon as they manage to capture a victim, they take him to their apartment and subject him to hours of torture. They would torture their victim until they got every detail out of him, even his financial situation.
Once they get those private details, they move quickly to empty his wallet and other possessions by going to his house or bank.
“They use hours of anal intercourse, which they alternately enjoy, as their second round of operations. They usually record their exploits on video and later relax to view it while enjoying their loot,” a police source disclosed.
It was reported that when they were successful in seducing and mistreating a mobile police officer's relative, their illicit activities were exposed.
The officer then went to one of the Lekki police stations and filed a complaint.
In light of this event, Adegoke Fayoade, the Commissioner of Police, ordered his special unit to start pursuing the offenders. without holding back.
It was discovered that the Special Squad had managed to infiltrate the gang and apprehend seven of its members, including its eldest member, who was reportedly a lawyer.
Gang members claimed during questioning that their victims were young, attractive males in their twenties and thirties who would use the anus to sate their sexual cravings.
The person with knowledge stated: “They reportedly shocked detectives when they confessed that they had been operating for over three years and that they choose highbrow areas where they could easily track well nourished and endowed men.”
A police source added: "They were boasting to us about how many healthy looking men they have abused through the anus. They said they reject men that are not looking healthy, stating emphatically that they have no business with women.
“After their arrest, we confined them in separate cells so that they would not descend on our male suspects inside the cell.
“However, few days later, one of them raised alarm that the oldest member of the gang who claimed to be a lawyer was having same affair with a member of the gang. When we accosted him, he said the relationship had been going on since they have been operating as a gang.

“Our greatest problem now is that some members of the devilish gang have escaped and we strongly suspect that they must be carrying on with their devilish criminal acts wherever they are.
“We are spreading our dragnets and we are sure that very soon, we will round all of them up. I must state that if not for the swiftness with which our Commissioner directed the operation, many men in Lagos state would have been endangered species by now.”
