DSS Recovered Over N580 Million From Detained Former EFCC Chairman, Bawa

Abdulrasheed Bawa, the EFCC's suspended Chairman, purportedly had more than N580 million that the Department of State Services (DSS) had allegedly recovered.

Remember that Bawa was detained by the DSS in June, not long after President Bola Tinubu had indefinitely suspended him due to alleged misconduct and abstinence from duty. Since then, he has been in custody.

On Friday, October 20, sources revealed the following, according to SaharaReporters: "Over N580 million has been retrieved from the incarcerated former chairman of the anti-graft agency, EFCC."
