MOHBAD'S DEATH: Bella Shmurda Postpones His Canada Tour
Following the passing of Mohbad, his friend and regular collaborator, Nigerian musician Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, also known as Bella Shmurda, has canceled his tour of Canada.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Mohbad passed away in a contentious manner.
On Saturday, Bella Shmurda, whose Canadian tour was about to start, announced the tour's cancellation via X.
He wrote: "Due to the recent sad event and unforeseen circumstances, I have had to cancel my Tour of Canada. New dates would be communicated."
Mohbad attempted suicide once as a result of threats he received after leaving Naira Marley-owned Marlian Music last year, according to information Shmurda revealed months ago in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late Mohbad, is expected to provide information to help with their inquiry, according to the Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who made the announcement on Saturday morning.
