2. As part of its ongoing investigation, the House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating alleged crude oil sales revenue loss has summoned the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami.
3. Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi says no force on earth can prevent President-elect Bola Tinubu from succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari. Umahi said Tinubu overcame several obstacles on his way to victory when Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, Ebonyi governor-elect, paid him a visit on Tuesday.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, has stated that Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi has more questions to answer regarding the leaked audio involving him and the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo. Obi has subsequently stated that the recording was fabricated.
5. The traditional ruler of Oghara in Kogi State's Kabba Bunu Local Government Area has been kidnapped. During the attack, a female domestic worker named Toyin Onare was shot dead, according to reports.
6. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has asked the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja to dismiss all petitions challenging the declaration of All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 election.
7. Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has banned the operations of livestock guards and the state paramilitary agency tasked with enforcing the state's open grazing policy for two weeks in order to allow all herders with cattle in the state to depart.
8. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has scheduled supplementary elections for Saturday, April 15, 2023, in the federal constituencies of Port Harcourt II and Khana/Gokana. Dr Johnson Sinikiem, the State INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, announced this in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

Barring a last-minute change, the All Progressives Congress, APC, may zone the positions of Senate President and Deputy Senate President to the geopolitical zones of the South-South and North-West, respectively. Whilst the party has yet to publicly express its position on the zoning of 10th National Assembly leadership positions, various sources have indicated that the South-South zone may be awarded the position of Senate President.
10. The governorship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, LP, have filed a petition against the All Progressive Congress, APC, and Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Separately, the PDP candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, also known as Jandor, and the LP candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vigour, sought the tribunal to overturn Sanwo-return Olu's and declare them the winners of the election.
