EPL: POCHETTINO IMPRESSES TODD BOEHLY FOR THE CHELSEA JOB
Following conversations over the head coach position at Stamford Bridge, former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has pleased Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly.
Chelsea is still looking for the next permanent manager to take over as head coach of the first squad next season.
After sacking Graham Potter, the Blues appointed caretaker manager Frank Lampard to lead the squad until the end of the season.
Pochettino, Julian Nagelsmann, and Luis Enrique have all been connected with the West London club.
However, the Independent reports that, while Chelsea's management says that there is "no favorite as of yet," Pochettino is said to have impressed everyone, notably Boehly, with his "clarity of vision" for the club.
Chelsea spoke with both Pochettino and Nagelsmann multiple times, and the Premier League giants felt the latter was 'too close to Thomas Tuchel,' who was fired last September.
