U-20 WORLD CUP: FLYING EAGLES BEGIN THEIR CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ON MAY 21



On Sunday, May 21, Nigeria's Flying Eagles will kick off their campaign at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Mendoza against debutants Dominican Republic.


It is the first time the Dominican Republic has competed in a FIFA event at any level.


Ladan Bosso's team will play Italy three days later in Mendoza in their second Group D game.


On Saturday, May 27, the Flying Eagles will conclude their group stage campaign against five-time champions Brazil in La Plata.


On Friday (today), the competition's draw ceremony took place in Zurich, Switzerland.


The event will be held in Argentina from May 20 to June 11.
