AN ICE CREAM VENDOR WAS ARRESTED FOR DEFILING A 12-YEAR-OLD BOT

In Bauchi, an ice cream vendor was arrested for sodomizing a 12-year-old boy over a sachet of water

Sani Musa, an ice cream vendor, was arrested by police in Bauchi State for allegedly sodomizing a 12-year-old boy in the state's Alkaleri LGA.

The 35-year-old suspect was apprehended on Tuesday, September 6, following a report that he lured the minor, a sachet water hawker, into a locked shop at Alkaleri main market and engaged in an illicit sexual encounter with him.

SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the command's spokesperson, said in a statement on Monday, September 12: "Preliminary investigation revealed that on 05/09/2022 at approximately 2100hrs, the suspect, who is selling ice cream at Alkaleri main market, purchased a sachet of water from the victim and later saw him walking around the market and Jured him to a nearby locked shop where they had anel sexual intercourse.

The suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime during interrogation."
