Former US Open champion Emma Raducanu is expected to miss the tournament due to a stress fracture in her right leg, the same injury that forced her withdrawal from Wimbledon, British media reported on Monday.
The 23-year-old is currently in rehabilitation. The main draw at Flushing Meadows is scheduled to begin in four weeks.

Raducanu’s season has been hampered by injury and illness. A right foot problem picked up last year disrupted her preparations and early tournaments in 2025.
She was then sidelined for more than two months in February due to illness. In June she suffered the stress fracture that ruled her out of Wimbledon.
