Khris Middleton is back with the Wizards after being included in a six-team trade involving the Mavericks, Grizzlies, Bucks, and Pistons.

The Washington Wizards picked up Khris Middleton from the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday as part of a wild six-team deal.

The Wizards sent guard De’Angelo Russell, a future second-round pick, and a future second-round pick swap to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The six-team trade also included an earlier Bucks-Pistons swap that sent Caris LeVert to Milwaukee.

Dallas is sending Middleton to the Wizards via sign-and-trade as part of a larger six-team deal that includes, in total, the Mavericks, Wizards, Clippers, Pistons, Bucks and Grizzlies. Middleton, 34, signed a three-year, $17.6 million deal as part of the sign-and-trade.

He began last season with Washington before being traded to Dallas. The veteran is heading into his 15th NBA year, and had originally landed with the Wizards during the 2024-2025 season in a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Middleton wrapped the season averaging 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.

After his rookie year in Detroit, Middleton spent the next 11.5 seasons in Milwaukee. There he made three All-Star teams and played a key role in the Bucks’ 2021 championship run.
