Rishabh Pant is heading back to Delhi Capitals as Kuldeep Yadav goes the other way to Lucknow Super Giants. The IPL confirmed the high-profile trade on Tuesday, swapping the former LSG captain for the left-arm spinner.
LSG had bought Pant for a record $3.21 million at the auction ahead of the 2025 season and handed him the captaincy. The wicketkeeper-batsman led the side, but will now rejoin the Delhi franchise.
Lucknow finished last in the 10-team table with only four wins from 14 games. That run prompted Pant to step down as captain.
