| Fiorentina push Juventus out of top four with late-season upset |
The defeat puts Juventus’ Champions League qualification in doubt heading into the final matchday.
Fiorentina moved closer to European qualification with a disciplined win over a misfiring Juventus side...
Fiorentina stunned Juventus 2-0 in Turin, dropping the Bianconeri to sixth and two points off a Champions League spot with one match left.
The win came away at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, leaving Juventus sixth in Serie A.
Juventus started slowly but still created two clear chances early on.
Dusan Vlahovic capitalized on a poor backpass from Cher Ndour and beat David De Gea to the ball inside the box. His sliding effort was weak, though, and De Gea managed to block it with his foot.
A few minutes later, Francisco Conceiçao tried his luck from inside the area but saw his shot blocked by Luca Ranieri.
Ndour put Fiorentina ahead by finishing off a through ball from Manor Solomon. He picked up the pass inside the box, and while his shot lacked power, it found its way past Di Gregorio at the near post.
Kenan Yildiz got a rare chance from distance, but De Gea got down quickly to his left and made the save.
Jack Harrison came on for the injured Fabiano Parisi and nearly made it 2-0 for Fiorentina. This time Di Gregorio reacted well and kept it out.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti brought on Jeremie Boga for Teun Koopmeiners at halftime. Juventus pressed higher after the break, but still couldn’t create many clear chances.

Weston McKennie had a goal ruled out after he pushed Robin Gosens in the box before heading home at the near post.
Dusan Vlahovic also saw his goal disallowed after a VAR check. He tapped into an empty net following an Edon Zhegrova shot, but he was offside behind the Fiorentina defense.
Former Juventus midfielder Rolando Mandragora put the game to bed with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box, curling it into the far top corner.
