Newcastle and Bayern Munich are said to be holding direct discussions about a possible transfer for winger Anthony Gordon.
The 25-year-old’s position at St James’ Park looks uncertain, and an exit during the summer window is becoming more probable.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the two clubs are engaged in ‘club-to-club’ negotiations over a deal for Gordon.

Newcastle are reportedly asking for €90 million, a figure Bayern aren’t willing to meet. The German club believes a deal could be done for around €75-85 million when bonuses are included.
Liverpool, Arsenal, and Barcelona have also been made aware of Newcastle’s valuation, but no agreement has been reached with any club so far.
